A buddy of mine has Counter-Strike: Source that’s going to expire soon and he needs some help giving it away. This contest runs until the first person gets the answer correct, but the guest pass expires March 15, so the contest will automatically end then if no one gets an answer correct. A random person will be chosen in that case. You MUST have a Steam account we can send the pass to. The pass lasts for three days.

Hello, fellow readers! I’ve got a couple sweet looking stickers by Jinx that I’m not using, so I’m giving them away here.

If you want them, just place a comment below. One entry per person. Deadline is Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 23:59 GMT-5 (11:59PM EST). Each entry will be assigned a number and a winner will be chosen randomly using random.org. The winner will be emailed shortly afterward and asked for an address to send to. If no address is supplied within two days, a new winner will be chosen. The stickers will be sent through the mail, though I claim no liability if they are damaged by the mail system. Hotprints allows you to take pictures either from your local computer, Facebbok, or Bebo and make a photo book with them. Once a month, you will get a credit for a free photo book, including shipping. If I recall correctly, they pay for these by placing removable insets with ads in them in your photo books before they ship out.

Meraki enterprise cloud controller license giveaway!

Last month, I attended a webinar hosted by meraki. They were giving out free wireless access points as well as three year enterprise cloud controllers. For my purposes, the included pro controller is adequate, so I’m giving away the three year enterprise cloud controller license away for free! If you run a meraki wireless network and want an enterprise cloud controller, this will save you $300! You must have a meraki product to use this license, so if you win, you must provide proof that you own one or more meraki products.

How to enter: Provide a comment below on why you want this license. You must provide a reason or you will not be entered, even if you provide additional entries as described below. Entry cut-off is March 21, 2009 at 23:59:59 GMT-5 (11:59:59PM EST).

Additional entries – these will give you one additional entry each:
1. Follow us on twitter and tweet the following on twitter: “I just entered to win a free meraki enterprise cloud controller license from @FreebiesForUs http://freebiesfor.us/dVm #free #wireless” (You must use a public twitter account, so we can see the mention.) If you remove the tweet afterward, we will remove the additional entry.
2. Make a blog or forum post about this and provide the URL of it in a comment. If it is a forum post, the forum must be at least two months old. Both forums and blogs must be visible to anyone, so that we can see the post. If you remove the post afterward, we will remove the additional entry.

Selection process:
Each entry will be assigned a number. Using random.org, a random number will be generated from the numbers available. The person who was assigned that number will be emailed and asked for proof that he/she owns a meraki product. If no proof can be provided within two days, he/she will automatically forfeit the contest and a new winner will be chosen using the process described before. Once the winner is chosen, it will be announced in this post.
